Thomas the Train
Josh has become a huge Thomas the Train fan. The train sets are so expensive so he owned one that he got for Christmas and that was it. I have been checking craigslist almost daily for a baby bassinet and came across someone selling Thomas the Train sets. For $20 we got 5 trains and 3 train sets which we were going to unveil at Josh's Thomas birthday party. He was with us when we purchased them and couldn't wait to play with them so we put the tracks together and Josh has played with them for HOURS!! Happy early birthday.

I thought my bassinet was still in the garage at your mom's? Josh sure looks cute - I wish we could make it to his party.
Erin - we are going to use your bassinet but two other people are in line for it so we are looking for our own. It may or may not happen but yours is currently in our baby's room already set up.
Way to be thrifty! If you're looking for any more they're on sale at toysRus next week (I haven't priced them so it may or may not be a good deal). Happy early birthday Josh!
Just tell them it's too bad for them - you were the first to it, so you get to use it as long as you want. They can all buy their own! Jeremy and Celeste can't take it to Coeur d"Alene anyway and you should be done with it by the time Kirsten needs it, right? Maybe I should have just brought it up with me, then you'd all have to suck up to me and show me I'm your favorite so I would send it to you to use. I AM your favorite, right?
Oh, and I haven't ever seen one I like as well as mine - I like the light and the vibrating. The music is slightly obnoxious, but I like that it rocks and rolls. It seems like now if you want all of those options, either they're hard to find or they cost a small fortune.
I'm still crossing my fingers that you have a baby while we're there. Well, you should FOR SURE while I'm there, but I'll cross my fingers for Doug.
Yes Erin of course you are the favorite. I thought that I had first dibs on the bassinet too but have been informed otherwise. We'll just see how it goes I guess. Yours is a hard one to find a good match to though - I'll tell you that much!! We can't wait to see you guys!
what a great deal. Reve has started to like trains as well. We were able to find him a train set for him for Christmas but he is so hard on his toys a lot of the parts are broken already.
it is fun to see them grow and start liking things.
